Permission Management Redesign in 4.31 Release

In the latest 4.31 release, the cloud-based version of 7pace Timetracker’s Permissions Management has had a makeover, with an updated, modern UI (don’t worry, updates will be made to on-prem soon!).

Licensed users screen

We’ve added comprehensive search functionality for both individual users and groups, to help large teams with complex structures better manage permissions. There are now two separate “Licensed” and “Unlicensed” screens for users. Clicking the “Add users” button results in a second “Unlicensed Users” screen displaying.

We hope you enjoy this user-friendly new design; let us know what you think!

Also in this release, we’ve added a new “Always require a work item” option under the “Settings” -> “Rules” section.

With “Always require a work item” enabled, users can only start tracking or add/edit time if a work item is provided for the worklog
